A small installation of unique, colorful seat/perch that are carved from broken and cast off skateboards, designed and layered to feature the colorful and use-etched top and bottom surfaces, as well as the colorful laminated edges. Skateboards not only refer to the ubiquitous urban subculture, and provide lightweight and very durable material, but they also signal the sharing of the sharing of the skateboarders beloved material (the board) with others in the neighborhood who may be elderly and otherwise frail; signaling an intergenerational loop of sharing and gift.  If the city is for everyone, we need more opportunities to rest.
